RENOVATION TO COMPLY WITH THE PASSIVHAUS STANDARD, OF A BUILDING LOCATED ON THE NORTH EDGE OF BARCELONA, OWNED BY THE BARCELONA MUNICIPAL HOUSING BOARD.
The rehabilitation focuses on implementing a new skin to the building to take advantage of the controlled use of the sun and natural light, thermal insulation, high-performance windows and doors, absence of thermal bridges, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery and air tightness.
The objective is to improve the environment, achieve high thermal comfort for homes, minimum consumption for the building, energy self-sufficiency based on the use of renewable and clean energy in order to have a building with zero emissions.
The proposal intends to demonstrate that with a not so high investment it is possible to rehabilitate a residential building and improve its quality level.
